I have always had a great passion for baking, ever since baking with my Mum when I was a little girl. I married and started a family of my own in 2013 and began baking more for family and friends.
My lifelong dream had been to own my own bakery and be able to create delicious treats. In 2016, in a bid to have a more flexible work life balance and to spend more time being a Mum, I took the decision to leave my office job of 18 years and start my own business and called it “The Butterfly Bakehouse”. I can honestly say it was the best decision I have ever made. I have gradually grown my business, at my own pace and in 2020 to accommodate my expanding business I had a purpose-built bakery at home – dreams really do come true! I honestly feel so lucky to have my passion as my work.
